A Rotary Minute Jun 20

And Thursday morning is the last day we meet to collect Polio Plus money through our change jar and with special gifts. As of this moment, our club has given $860 for polio eradication during this year. With an additional $140 this week, we can be at $1,000! (Shirley’s original goal for the change jar was $250. Boy, did we ever over-shoot that.)
It’s also the last two weeks for collecting camp supplies for Higher M-Pact. We can meet that goal if we work for that too. If you need to know what to bring, check the last Newsletter Jill sent out.
Shirley is beginning to relax. She can be proud of all that has been accomplished. Gail has been revving up for weeks, even as she retired from her day job. She’s set to lead us to another good year for the Rotary Club of Johnson County.
