ROTARY MINUTE

Rotary Minute January 5, 2022

Most Rotarians know that the New Year emphasis is to start the 2nd half of the Rotary year.  Not only is it time to finish those projects we started, but there are always new challenges at the beginnings of January.

So far, President Becky reports that things are going well.  We just finished the Christmas Angels, helped the Christmas Bureau, began our year’s work with the Learning Club and sent in donations to Every Rotarian Every Year.

What’s next on our project agenda?   We have a growing interest in FAITH/HOPE and Gabriel’s work with this very important program for the metro area homeless.  And, we still have two steps left for the KCK Learning Club’s after school program.  Our next step is gathering and delivering snack foods for these kids.

What about new project needs that we are seeing?  Get those ideas to Becky and we’ll get rocking.  There is no rest for Rotarians, especially as we usher in a new year with all its challenges.
